        I'm very excited to announce that my new album has just been released today! It's a New Age arrangement of the classical work The Planets, Op. 32, composed by Gustav Holst. It contains acoustic instruments mixed with synthetics and orchestral samples. The music is similar in style to Mannheim Steamroller, Isao Tomita and Vangelis.
        This was a very ambitious project that has taken longer than any other album to produce. It's my 11th studio album, and is currently available in digital format on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Rhapsody, Bandcamp, plus more! Click the link below to check it out! The physical CD is taking a little longer than I expected, so that will be hopefully be available by next week. Enjoy!

Covers of video game music on Nintendo gaming systems by the New Age Artist ALBEDO.

I have a brand new You Tube channel! It's called “ALBEDO Nintendo Covers” and it contains covers I've done of video game music from various Nintendo gaming systems. Nintendo has been kind enough to include me on their new creators program, which is why I started the new channel. I have uploaded several videos so far, with plans to upload many more. As you may or may not know, I've started a new You Tube Channel. It's called “Doug's Random Questions”, DRQ for short. It will be a series where I answer random question about Science, the Arts, etc. Music for the series is obviously by ALBEDO. The second video is called “How many LEGO bricks do you need to build a full size model of the Sears Tower?” where I answer how many 2x4 LEGO bricks it would take to build a full sized replica of the Sears Tower in Chicago, IL. It will be a series where I answer random question about Science, the Arts, etc. The first video is called “What is the Largest Digital Number?” If you had a computer with enough hard drives to fill the entire universe, and you started typing numbers into a word document, what would be the largest number you could type?

        The sheet music for my latest album "Space Probes" is finally available! It can be found on the Musica Neo website at the link below. It is for Small Ensemble, Large Ensemble or Orchestra with Choir.
         The Space Probes album was released on August 25, 2014 and is a collection of musical interpretations of select space probes of achievement. Unmanned robotic spacecraft that explored astronomical objects in our solar system other than earth, and were the first successful flyby, orbiter, lander, rover or sample return missions. Music is similar in style to Mannheim Steamroller and Vangelis.
